COVID-19 Information
Masses will resume on the weekend of May 30 & 31 (Mass times remain the same) with MANY restrictions per the Diocese of Providence due to the COVID-19 pandemic. If you are HEALTHY enough to come please follow these rules to keep all who worship here safe.
Bishop Tobin reminds us that "as we prepare to re-open churches, no one is required to attend Mass; the dispensation is still in effect. And older folks, and those with health issues, are strongly urged not to attend right now, for their safety and that of others."
1. Please enter through the front door only.
2. You MUST wear a face covering (mask or scarf that covers your mouth and nose) AT ALL TIMES while you are inside the church. You may partially remove your face covering only at Communion time and please receive in the hand (without gloves).
3. Social distancing of at least 6 feet is required while sitting, standing, or if you choose to receive communion. Please adhere to the restrictions marked with tape. Do not sit in pews that are taped closed. Families living in the same household may sit together, otherwise please distance yourselves safely.
4. There is no gathering after Mass. Respectfully leave the Church as soon as the Mass has ended.
5. If you are feeling sick please stay home and get well before coming into the Church. If you have other health issues please do not risk coming out.
Thank you for your support and patience during this time. Yes, there are many rules but be assured that they are in place only to keep you healthy...not to prohibit your faith!
